I bought this off ebay and, to my ears, it doesnt add anything to the sound of my system. I also don't like the fact that if you leave a record on it overnight it will apparently leave a stain on the record (although people say mulitple washes will eliminate this). This is a clone of the Exteme Phono turntable mat. Here's is the ebay auction I bought if from:
