furryletters on ebay is an excellent source for techflex and nylon multifilament. I slide the multifilament over my braids when I use it.

hndme.com has silver at excellent prices as well.

thanks for another awesome recommendation for sleeving. i'm gonna wait for my wires to come in first to see what size i should get. wish i knew of this sooner.

only the nylon multi-filament isnt, basicaly the only choices you have if you want to avoid microphonics are to use a wire with softer insulation and more flexible, use soft nylon or cotton sleeving. thats it. the regular techflex is pretty microphonic yes.
