Anyone own a Western Digital TV or something similar?

i'm about to buy a wd live tv unless someone can recommend something better for <$150

my friend has a popcorn hour which is pretty amazing, but i dont want to spend $300 on a media player

the only thing that makes me hesitant w/ the WD TV, is that it doesn't do netflix.. but then again, i'll mainly be using it to stream mkv files

i would just use my ps3, but it's a hassle/waste of space converting all my mkv files to vob

Asus O!Play

Not sure if it is better but a friend who owns the oplay and has used the wd, says that the oplay is easier to use.

ps3 media server will stream .mkv files to your ps3.

PS3 Media Server

i have the 1st gen wdtv and it's pretty good - navigation is much easier and quicker than the asus in my experience. i wouldn't recommend picking up a 1st gen model for various reasons, but the 2gen and wdtv live devices are pretty great at what they do.
