My Way, because it will remain a top song in the kareoke of the future. And wide performance lends ubiquity.

Frank Zappa's inimitable "Dinah-Moe Humm."

Not in the Philippines. Singing "My Way" will get you killed.

But you may just be right. If "My Way" remains a karaoke favorite it will remain popular. I just wonder how many people will have a recording of the Sinatra version.

I was going to say "Imagine", but that has already been mentioned. So, I'll say "American Pie". It's hard to think that only one song will define an entire century, so one good sone is just as good as another. For giggles I will also mention the "Happy Birthday to You" song. It's certainly the most sung.

First thing that came to mind was "Imagine", but then I went back through the thread and saw "Over the Rainbow" mentioned, which makes sense, too.

Is Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" count as non-classical?

Was reading through the thread to see if anyone said this because I was gonna if not. 300 years from now they will still be celebrating Christmas and this song is practically a hymn now.
