LOD has approximately 2.5 inches of cable in between the dock connector and the switchcraft gold-plated 3.5mm plug.
*Steve gave me lifetime warranty when I bought this from him in Sept 2008, and I believe this is transferrable so will forward the paypal receipt. However, in the interest of full disclosure, due to personal reasons Steve is less involved with Head-fi nowadays then he has been (please do a quick search for more information)
**Other than that, the cable is very well made (so I don't really think you'd need to call upon the warranty anyway), and in used but fairly good condition (I'd rate it 7/10). There is some oxidation on the copper part of the cable, but this is inevitable (happens with almost every copper interconnect), not very noticeable, and does not affect the sound (see numerous threads about this).
