Super Noob question... Soldering?

Ok so my AKG 701 recently stopped producing sounds to the right can. Thanks to this awesome forum I found some steps on taking them apart. I found that the solder from the red wire broke. Now I need to know, is there any specific type of solder to be used in the repair of this connection?

Use whatever you have on hand.

Don't use the kind of solder that they use for plumbing or welding. Any kind of electrical solder will be fine

x2, but be careful. Dont use to much heat. If there is a secondary wire which goes into the driver, high heat melt the wire off and its very hard to get it back on. Also the post can melt out of the plastic.

practice on OTHER things, first, if this is your first try.

I will not be doing this myself. Not worth the risk of ruining these amazing headphones.
