- HDD upgrade is a little over a year old (drive was bought new from buy.com). No problems with it.
- Unit is a little scuffed up but works fine. No noticable scratches on the screen. The back of the unit has a large dent in it, which doesn't detract from usage.
- Side buttons were a little wonky but I had fixed them some time back. They work fine, now. Not sure if that was a S series defect or just this unit.
- Firmware version is currently 1.3, which came out last year.
- No USB cable included, but it's a mini-USB so I assume that you have a few of those lying around.
Also will come with the pictured case (flip top and a belt clip on the back). I had been using the drive on my Gigabeat F, but selling this with the S series since the ZIF connector works fine and there shouldn't be any need for you to open it up. Lastly, I haven't tested the battery life in awhile but I believe it was somewhere in the area of 7 hours(?) for audio. The battery life on the S series was not very good.
Asking $125 US, not including S&H which should be fairly low given its weight. I would also consider pulling out just the drive (a MK1214GAH) if you are only interested in that - $100 US, for just the drive. I'd prefer Canada/US only, but would consider international, as well. Shoot me a PM, if you're interested. I'd also consider selling the drive with a Gigabeat F but keep in mind that it's a bit of a DIY and might require you to open the device on occasion.
