I have the RE252 and used to have the CK10.
I much prefer the 252.
The CK10 physically made my ears hurt more than any nagging girlfriend I've ever had, and their sibilence was like a cat being strangled in time to the music.

hmmmm ... sounds like a Geddy Lee review
Lol.
As an ex-ck10 owner, and current RE-252 owner, I have to say they are not really rivals, they present the music quite differently.
The RE-252 and Sony EX600, however, is a different story, they certainly are rivals, and close to the best IEM's I've ever heard, I give accolades to both units.
