I am selling one of my Stax amps. It was bought october 2006 from Simplystax UK. It is in immaculate condition - sonically as well as cosmetically.
I have just put it up for sale here in Denmark for 8000 DDK, which corresponds to 1080 Euro + insured shipping. Serial number: D7S-1068
It comes with original box and manual.
I thought that perhaps there might be a buyer here as well.
Please no bidding or offers of parts exchange.

cheers

Tom

Withdrawn

Due to lack of interest I have withdrawn the amp. It will now be gutted for parts.

too bad you wouldn't ship to the USA - you'd probably get some offers

Well - the hassle/cost with bank transfer outside EU is to big. I don´t trust Paypal.

Bank transfer and paid for shipping - OK wopuld ship to US.

Conversion

Do you know if this can be converted to US voltage? Does it say anything in the manual?

I would have bought this as i've been looking for one quite a while but a little expensive IMHO. A latest 727 recently sold on fleabay for Euro 850 including free shipping

FYI, The 717 is very easy to voltage convert by moving the jumpers inside (late models) or moving a "block" on the back panel (early models). There was a post in the last few days by Spritzer in the STAX thread with the jumper positions for all voltage options.

As to the 727 v. the 717, the 717 is more desirable and typically sell faster and at a higher price here in the US
