loving my dacport

I remember seeing on some malaysian audio forum a picture of a dacport's insides. It seems it uses the same d/a converter as the dacmini, the akm 4396

but this isnt barring anyone from exploring their own dacports... the pictures on the forum were very blurry so i couldnt confirm if this was ture, but the photographer said that he saw the 4396 chip

I'm a big fan of CEntrance. When the time is right I might repurchase the LX or whatever else comes down the pipeline.

I was wondering what would be a better fit for my HD650's as I already have a headroom cosmic reference amp... better to use the dacport lx or the audio-GD NFB-12 or just get the musiland 02US for just the DAC. I'm loving the headroom amp with my 650's just want to bump it up one notch and get a good dac for that combo. Anyone have recommendations?
