it's about two weeks that i've bought them and i'm quiet satisfied with it ... first i wanted to buy the J3 but it's 3.3 AMOLED screen and good video playing was not needed!! it's low 16GB...

When I listened to the sound for the 1st time, I was hit by it. I was punched by the not-punchy-bass. I was hoping it would offer much better bass response than SE315.. equals to Klipsch Image...

The early 73 shows that had Eyes out of the really gnarly Dark Stars accomplished that nicely - the return to the real world after the insanity of the post-melody Dark Star segment...but El Paso??? That just didn't flow. But OMGWAMS

So I've spent the last couple of months or so listen to the the 24 bit CM 71 shows. They actually sound much better than the official releases from the same shows. The sound seems far less compressed. Different source or different mastering or both?
Both, but mainly Norman isn't the best at mastering and multi-track mixdown. Norman had a better source and got not as good results. He is OK for mastering SBDs, but he is not able to do good multitrack mixdowns.
