I own a bose speaker (wave) and is sick of it. The bass is muddy and it makes a 12 year old girl sounds like an old lady having a sore throat. I would like to buy a new speaker but I have a very limited budget (about 200$). Can anyone suggest me a new speakers that sounds better than the bose I own?

You need powered speakers? That would seem to be the case if you're looking to replace a bose wave. If that is the case, the Klipsch pro media 2.1 is decent sounding (meaning far better than bose wave)

Why not get a Tivoli?

The HK Soundsticks II sound pretty good, but I don't know if I'd pay any more than the $60 Costco had them for a couple years ago.

X2

It's what I have at my computer right now, and most people are impressed with the quality of the sound. That and it can get really, really loud, which is nice for days when my buddies and I have too much to drink and decide to crank out some old school jams. I paid $150, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Amazon.com: Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX Certified Computer Speaker System (Black): Electronics
