modded comfies are the only way to go.

On my MS1i I mostly use bowls with my home-made plastic distancers. Sometimes I use my quarter-modded comfy pads that came with the MS1i.

I switch between S's and L's on my 80i

I'm using the comfies on my SR-325 phones and was using the L-bowels on my SR-125 phones. I got a pair of GS-1000 bowels today. Didn't like them on the 325's--seemed to thin out the bass. OTOH they've really opened up the 125's. Using the comfies or the L-bowels I thought the 125's were "enjoying" a bit of a mid-range hump compared to the 325's that made them sound muddy in comparison. Putting the GS-1000 bowels has really opened them up--now they are a very enjoyable, well-balanced set of phones. The bass is not as dynamic as the 325's bass but it's not bad at all.

Bowl pads with SR225s. But they stay very far away from bright sources (D10 headphone jack w. stock opamps). Am considering TTVJ Flat pads for HF-1s.

Only bowls for my 225's

Bowls on MS1's. Occasionaly I will use flats, but I always go back to the bowls.

I use both the Bowls and Jumbos on my HF-2. I just ordered a SR-80i that will come with a quarter mod comfy. But I'm sending them in to have the Magnum Lite treatment, so who knows what I'll prefer.
