SOLD: Decware Zen Head-Model ZH 1

I am selling my mint condition Decware Zen head portable headphone amp. I have been using it with great success as a pre-amp in my home stereo setup as well. The unit is about 1 year old, and has over 100 hours on it. The unit has never been dropped or scratched and has always been well taken care of. You should be able to tell by the photos.

I will include the leather pouch and mini-to-mini connector that came with the unit. As well I will include a few 9V batteries as well as a rechargeable Ni-MH 9V battery.

Seeing as I have never sold anything yet on Head-fi, I will ensure that the buyer and myself share any needed personal contact information to ensure smooth transaction.

I will sell the unit for $220 US, including shipping and Paypal fees to the US (lower 48) and Canada.

There is one small issue with the unit. The left and right channels are flipped. This has not affected the sound quality at all. Steve at Decware told me that he'd fix it for me at no charge, but I never bothered sending it back. This has never proved to be an issue for me, but I figured I did not want the buyer having any surprises.

Thank you.

Cory

Is the Zen warranty transferable?

I spoke with Decware today and they said "technically no". They said however that they would be willing to do this fix, then send it to someone else at my request after it is fixed. They would then give me the tracking # so I could be reassured of the shipment. Not sure how this would work with Paypal and me receiving money.

Hey man. Great sounding amp you're selling. Not to add to the discussion thread, but I've dealt with Steve from Decware in the past. Super great guy, but regarding the fix, I'm pretty sure the new buyer will have to pay for the fix. If I were in your situation, I would at least disclose a fix quote, that way the new buyer won't be in shock at the repair price and come back flaming you.

Steve did mention to me today that it is a warranty issue and that he'd do it at no charge, then ship it out to a different customer's address. We corresponded a while ago via email as well indicating the fix at no charge, so I'm not too worried.
