Skullcandy Skullcrushers. Absolutely bloated and muddy as all get out in the low end. The one plus side I see is that the eventual breaking of the cable, due to that stupid in line amp, brought me to Head-Fi. I guess we all have to have our Skullcandy purchase before we get the good stuff.
Agreed. Couldn't sound further from reality!
Had both.. sold both for the same reasons!
Koss porta pro "storm edition" (though I never paid) seriously who puts the effort into faking porta pros for a measly 30$??
Beats Studios. Actually my wife got them for me for Christmas and I had to keep them but I hated she spent that kind of money for those.
This is sortof in a 3rd person perspective...
My friend who has a measley hint of Audio Appreciation in him.
approached me asking how i got/how much my Grado SR80i's were and that he was thinking about getting some.
He said he bought Studio Beats.. hated how they sound..
And Bought SoloHD Beats...
Steelseries 5H. i should of got siberias... but i haven't regretted any audiophile grade headphone yet.
I regret buying Sony MDR XB1000s; I should've bought two.
B&W P3
They were so unbearably uncomfortable and would have to re-adjust them every 15 minutes.
What they cost me is what makes me regret trying them out. Still need to sell them off sometime soon.
XB500, was expecting booming bass but even they suck at making the bass boom properly. Bads bad mids. They have no isolation either so no portability. Friend seemed to like them so gave it to him. I would prefer Beats over this, don't give me none of this Beats hate, then recommend the XB's as if they are any better. At least it's cheaper.
Brainwavz B2. They don't sound bad, just not the signature I was looking for. Way too harsh, no energy, and no bass.
Feels :(
