FS: Ray Samuels Audio "The Raptor" Headphone Amp - UK

Dear Head-Fi Community,

I purchased this Raptor two years ago directly from Ray, 240V AC version.

Barely used. At all.

I wanted a headphone rig for the office and decided on going the Ray Samuels route! When I say this I mean:

Meridian 508.24 - RSA "The Raptor" - Sennheiser HD600

One harmoniously voiced and balanced system. Very compelling.

I found, like many others, the Raptor to be a truly wonderful amp and particularly verstaile with many headphones. From Grado to Sennheiser, to Audio Technica, to whatever. It simply sounds fantastic.

It is in the exact condition as when it came into my loving care. There is the slightest slightest imperfection near to the headphone socket, but a magnifying glass is required and know this was present when I first unpacked it. Much unlike myself, probably due to the wait for the amp itself, I decided to let it go and just enjoy the music.

It has been kept in a smoke, child, pet and even dust free enviroment.

It sells with the original tubes it was shipped. I would have loved to have rolled tubes in this, but simply never got around to it. I understand an even higher level of performance can be assertained from rolling tubes specific to headphone, but you can be the one having the fun!

I retained the original packaging in which it was sent, a cardboard box and lots of bubble wrap of all things!

I am including free Herbies Audio Lab HAL-O tube dampners. They were the "top of the line" dampners they made at the time. I think they are well worth using, if not only to extend tube life.

The Raptor is for sale at 535 GBP, 850 USD, 610 EUR. Will ship worldwide!

Please do send me a private message if you have any questions.

All the best,
James Hawkes
