Really a dumb question, the LED is supposed to be the other way, isn't it ?

Yea its backwards, I'm using Paint and hit invert instead of rotate, will fix it in the morning.

Fixed the LED, also the load line indicated that this tube is optimum with a 7500k primary impedance, will find out if this adds cost to the OPT's.

Looking closely at the datasheet it looks like a 7.5k primary will be best for this tube. I'm estimating total cost under $700. Two hammond 370AX transformers will work (one each channel) to power the Broskie PS-2's. A 12V transformer will power a LM1085 filament supply (wire the heaters in series.)

could you use a gyrator instead of the plate css? some people prefer the sound. see here

The DN2450 version looks easy enough to try, I'll do a comparison when I build ths.
