Distress call music meltdown!!! need help!!

So I have spent hrs/days reading ALL the different reviews and opinions on here and all over the web, and now I seem to be even more confused. I'm only writing this because I'm out of ideas...I work allot and don't really have time to look a whole lot so any input you could give me would be AMAZING. I am trying to build the best sounding portable rig I can, and has to be portable as I'm always on the move, currently I have Sony MDR-V150's, *Before I get murdered forgive me* Skullcandy TI's and Apple Ipod Touch 1gen.

Best option for me right now would be finding someone/outlet (source) selling full rigs **is there??** source and amp

if not would it be worth while to slap an amp on the touch?? or buy another player and a amp...looking for ONLY sound quality have touch for all other functions.

Thinking about Cowon d2 + amp, touch + fiio e5, or (more than likely) nationite s:flo2, but pllleeease help, I need some one to save me as I love my music and I'm a new borne in his scene and I know very little and btw working on higher grade cans in the future.

Ok, well first of all are you happy with what you have? What do you feel needs improvement? Do you want a dac as well or just an amp? What's your budget?

as of right this sec. I might be able to scrape up around 2-$400.00 and will upgrade as I go but am I happy, no not really I know my music can sound soooo much better. and like I said im new to this not sure what a dac is, and the diff. with that and a amp. but ive read a few more reviews and im really thinking about nationite s:flo2 w/ fiio e5 amp. and just use the cans I have for now, unless you can recommend a good set of headphones around $1-$200.00.

Okay so after some final searching I am thinking Nationite S:Flo2, Audio-Technica ATH-A700 Art Headphones, and Amp? does this sound like a good combo guys?? and I think the Flo2 has a onboard dac. maybe wrong? but thinking fiio e5 maybe or if I can find a good deal ibasso one of those amps.

Relax, consider the quality and source of your music files, and cans before source in your case. Determine what you need out of your rig, be it isolation, extreme portability, file compatibility, or capacity. Enjoy the ride and buy what you want to try, sell what you don't like.

well I have a case to carry it all in so a source and amp will be fine size wise but really im just going for the best sound quality I can get. thats all I really care about at this point, and I have around 400 to put into it I think.

Here's a nice very portable rig in that price range: Clip+ (w/ card) + ibasso T3 + RE0. All told, should run you about $300, plus a bit more if want a better interconnect.
