with a lot of super glue !!!!!!!!! you could also epoxy the end over the super glue then hotglue over that then over that sticky glad wrap stuff

Will that wire bump around inside the teflon and cause microphonics?

I doubt it. I will be attempting to build my OCC silver HD650 cables this weekend so will be able to share my experiences afterwards. So far, though, just from building some mini to mini's and some RCA's, the wire does not move around in the tubing once you braid it.

Ever noticed that MOST solid silver wires can be zingy, or edgy sounding ? That is due to the teflon they are coated with. Want the very best sound from silver ? All the detail and tightness, without the edge ? Use unbleached cotton sleeving instead of Teflon. My DIY interconnects tip #1 to you

Best suggestion is to not worry about it.

If you're worried, use enameled (magnet) wire.

The skin effect of Teflon makes conductors sound slightly brighter. Great for warm copper, but not usually so for silver.
