and ? the original ipod is also chinese made by foxconn,

and remember meizu ? untill someone actually listened to one it was just another ipod ripoff in a heap of cheap crappy ipod lookalikes,

now beware, 30 bucks for 16GB seems too cheap to be true, i smell that its actually a 2 or 4gb player with the filesystem modified to show 16GB, as for soundquality, i expect the dac and the op amps to be the cheapest thing they could find at that moment,

haha maybe i bought it off ebay

perhaps its fake i guess since you can rarely even find a mem stick or sd card of 16gb for 30 bucks

but this seller auctioned these products at first, and i was a lucky bidder =]

now he sells them for "BUY NOW" for 40 bucks but meh...

ill see what happens

oh and i forgot, if you want to ensure it has full memory, you can get these nano clones at focalprice

this player doesnt seem that bad especially for the price you are paying

it supports scroll wheel, has a camera etc etc

haha word but its 30 bucks, just saying for people who need a cheap mp3s

Well I don't think it's a clone because of where it's made but what it represents; hence the word "clone".
It's not like "hey we call these Troops Clone Troopers because they came from the same place." No we call them that because they are copies of other clones.

Chances are the life span will not be stellar, most likely never see any bug fixes or have any firmware upgrades and I doubt the sound quality will be much worth writing about. But as long as you’re happy who cares …

On that note, I’ve yet to meet anyone who has been happy with a cheap Chinese made mp3 player clone, although who knows you might be the lucky one, let us know what you think in 6 months if it’s still working
