FS/IC: Sony D25 discman w/ extras

I would like to start this off at $300 - please message me any questions or offers. I can take photos, I just haven't yet. I will soon or upon request.

Including: CD Player, 2 rechargeable batteries, 110V power supply, and 2M MAC silver iPod Sound Pipe ($129)

I have in my possession a very nice-looking Sony D25. This is considered the best portable CD player ever made and I had to jump through hoops to get it.
See the hype and links to reviews on ALO Audio
It is black, no dings or scratches, all lettering intact - pretty remarkable for a ~20 yr old CD player. It is beautifully simple: Play/Pause button, Fwd/Skip buttons, Stop and Open on the top panel. The front has a Hold switch, Volume dial, Enter/Remain button and separate "Play" and "Key" buttons under the "Mode" heading. To the left is the full digital display. It uses the coveted 4x oversampling, no DSP or any other crap. Read the review on EnjoyTheMusic - link to it from CD Players on ALO. This beauty has separate headphone and line outs - perfect for use with an amp.
There's also a connection for a remote - I don't have the remote, nobody else does either (including ALO). I don't believe is was part of the original packaging.
It comes with a fully functioning original battery, and I have a new battery from ALO ($35) along with an extra 110V power supply ($10). ALO does not include a battery with theirs; I'm including two. I'll also throw in a 6 ft MAC Silver iPod Sound Pipe mini-to-RCA cable ($129)
Oh, and the disc player is in the original black velvet-nylon pouch from Sony. This thing is in unbelievable condition - even the black/red "It's A Sony" sticker is in perfect shape.

*Note about model numbers: The D-25S, D-25, and D-250 are all identical in their construction and sound and the different designations were for different markets. The only difference is that the 25S and 250 models are silver in color rather than black.
(Don't you want the black one?)

More Price Drop

I realized one of the batteries (the original) does not hold a charge. I still have the replacement, which is brand new, and the CD player will run on AC power alone.

In light of this I'm willing to be a bit more flexible with the price.

Sony D-25 Best Discman Ever with extras.

This is a black D-25 - very similar to the "D-25S" models you can find for $275 with no batteries or extras on ALO Audio But this is the original model, in black, looks and sounds great.

I'm asking $225 total including a brand new battery and U.S. power supply, and a MAC silver sound pipe mini-to-RCA cable. see details below.

This one is not quite "like new" but has been very well preserved. I will post pictures - message me for picture if they're not up yet or with any offers.

Best portable CDP ever made!

Don't miss out - these are hard to find and I'm selling mine because I'm strapped for cash. I just hope the D25 goes to a good home!
