You might want to check out the higher-end combos, like the Grace M902 and the Benchmark DAC1. The Grace has a better amp section, the Benchmark is more of a pro-audio quality reference DAC; both are high-end all-in one solutions with balanced outs.

It does have a DAC, however it is horrifically mediocre.
As for the Benchmark and Grace, the Grace is somewhat out of budget unless I buy used, and I've heard some pretty awful things about the Benchmark. I'd rather have an equally good DAC and amp than a 1 sided combo, also I'd like to buy separately this time so I can upgrade a single component at a time.

Is the DACMagic far better than the LD DAC_1? I would imagine it is but figured I might as well ask.
Also, I've heard tube amps are not very good for Denons, so would I be better going with the Audio-GD Roc and upping the budget a little? Would the DACMagic pair well with the Roc?
Although I'm a little hesitant to go balanced even though I said I was considering it, as I would have to reterminate my headphones and I have no local shop that is able to do it, and I've seen the way the wire of the D5000 is made up, and it does not look like something I want to mess with (it's like 2 layers and there's a layer of paper, it's really odd), so I'd have to send them away for a retermination.
The X-Can and DACMagic and the Audio-GD combo are both looking very, very tempting right now. Both have been HIGHLY recommended to me as fantastic matches with the Denons.
