You're watching the Olympics, there's a "We Are the World" segment about the destruction in Haiti, and you find your attention turned to the makes and models of the headphones worn by the celebrity singers.

Is it just me or did it look like a Beyerdynamic commercial? And was Quincy Jones listening to the K-701s? Go QJ!

Yeah, those are clear warning signals. Be aware!

Hah, very true. Even now if I'm outdoor and bumped to super hot girl with non-standard headphone, I will check out her headphone first. Anyone with non standard headphone intrigue me now......

Some have the urge to test themselves by identifying headphones, curiosity strikes!

Haha. I've been tuned in from the very start and this is starting to sound like a "warning signs that you live in Canada and don't get the same movie-studio-quality commercials as your nearest neighbours" thread.

oh.... s***

Those Beyer's... they should be on MY head.

Almost all of those celebs don't know how much those headphones are worth.

And this should be in the lounge forum.

I know...gosh I find myself paying attention to all sort of tv programs in this regard. Thing is...I have to keep it to myself. There's no, "Hey honey...see those Beyer Dt770 Pros?" without serious eye rolling.

That's not a warning sign . . . . . that's a cry for an intervention
.

Noticed that myself. Doh...can't help it.

When you go to your girlfriend's house and spend your time with her father's rig, to the point of bringing over your headphones and amp to try on his source, you might be a headneck.

I do this every single time I see anyone wearing headphones... so where's the rehab clinic??

I have become less addicted to head-fi as of lately. Maybe because I finally have a MAD Ear+ HD and my HF-2 should be here by the end of the week. I do not need to research for hours to find the perfect combo for me I think getting 1,000 posts in about 10 weeks explains my addiction... I don't think I am ever going to forget the day I posted 63 times here in one day
