IEM with replacable, or super sturdy cables?

I'm gathering a list of quality IEMs for my sister to choose from for her birthday, since the bijous I got for her some time ago, crapped out. This time I want to get something that will last much much longer. Budget around 100-200 USD (150-300SGD).

Super fi 3 looks good, what do you guys think? I'm open to any suggestions, because in the end she will be the one to decide. Looks are important for the prettier sex

Panasonic RP-HJE900...

Strong, detachable cables, with housings made from cubic zirconia...

...Sound great, and are in budget too!!

I'm reading up on these now after having them recommended. They sound great. The tips look a little different, not sure how they would feel. I'm seriously considering getting these. If you're in the states you can get from for about $110. Having trouble finding them in Canada though.

Triple Fi 10 $200 with detachable cables. $200 on amazon. You can get them on ebay for $150-170

if you go the ebay route, make sure you get their original Amazon invoice for warranty purposes. most of them are pretty accomodating

I'd recommend the Triple.fi if they weren't really big and kinda ugly. The HJE900 have gotten good reviews and are fairly low profile looks-wise.

CK10. Indestructible, tiny, pretty, and they sound oh-so-good. HJE900 isn't anywhere near as small.

although you don't necessarily need it; Logitech didn't really ask me both times I needed to get replacements for products. they usually just ask for the code on the cable or something

Triple fi 10 has replaceable cables however theres a lot of complaints here about the cable failing pretty often..im actually thinking of getting the westone es cable for it

the ck10 seems pretty durable so far. the only complaint i have is the straight plug instead of a right angle but thats due to my preference.

I have had A LOT of UE cable failures in the past. The culprit usually seems to be the input jack. It just fatigues.

i guess ill consider myself lucky so far..i was planning on getting a better cable if or when it failed. no issues at almost 3 months i think ive had them

Lucky you. Mine failed within 10 days at the straight input jack as well. When I called them for a replacement they told me I needed the invoice from an authorized dealer (Amazon). I guess YMMV depending on the customer service rep you speak to. Also, they weren't willing to just send me a cable, so I had to send my entire unit in, and they just shipped out a brand new replacement.

I decided that the comfort was bothering me, and that the cables are too much of a hassle, so I'm going the re-mold route for my TF10s, with Westone ES cables this time around


//just wanted to add, the cable especially bothered me because I used my old Sennheiser MM50s (also with a straight input jack) the exact same way for about a year without any problems or cable failures.
