When you buying CDs in a store do you prefer to have the spine or front cover on display?

I personally prefer the spines on display so i can scan the titles without having to flick through them and aggravate my carpal tunnel wrists. it's a hell of a lot faster too.

i dont mind having to flick through, i like being able walk through and see all of the cds without having to get really close to be able to read ths spines but i do most my cd shopping at best buy and they oblige me lol

Front cover.
I find it easier to find what I am looking for that way, and do not mind flipping or opening the cover for further details.

If I am shopping for new cds, I prefer front cover on display so I can take a lot in at once, but If I'm at my local used store, I like spine first, because I'm generally hunting for specific titles, and I find it easier to do with spines.

Agreed. It depends whether or not I know what I'm look for.

Either way is fine for me ... but I hate it when they have numerous layers of plastic covers on the CDs (very common over here) and the light reflects off it in a bad way so I have to take it out and adjust viewing angle before I can see what the disc is!

I know lots of my albums by the cover, so that would be preferable. Though, working a bit at BestBuy, we could really save some space by storing them with the spine facing out. I like being able to see the cover though!!! Helps a ton!!!
