I have a Decware that I have been using in a secondary system that I rarely use anymore. This is a fully upgraded version with tube voltage regulation, Eichmann HC-XTC phonopods for the tube output RCAs. The tube voltage regulation means that you can basically dial in how much gain you want to send to your preamp or headphone amp.

Tubes:
1 Stock regulator tube

Output tubes (1 of each):
Cryo Electro-Harmonix 12Bh7; RCA 12Av7; RCA cleartop 12Au7; Amperex 7062; Mullard CV4003; Syvania 5963; Stock JJ tube

Caveats:
The digital out section stopped working a while back. It has to be a short of some kind at the output because the internal DAC works perfectly as does everything else on the player. I am not a electrical engineer nor do I do any sort of DIY so I never tried to fix it. You just can't use it as a transport. Quite frankly, this thing is so good that you probably will have to spend at least $1000 on a DAC to get the same quality of sound. It rivals my main system (CDP+DAC+Digital Lens) which would retail for $4k brand new and it only beats the Decware with regards to bass and tonality. The Decware takes the soundstage title.

This is the non Ipod version. It will read MP3 CDs, but the front display is limited so it won't show titles - I never used it as a MP3 player for this reason.

I am the third owner.

In any event this is a Awesome sounding player. If you use the EH cryo tube you will be hard pressed to find another player or DAC under $1000 that sounds better or even as good.

Consider the facts above and make a offer. I will also email pics upon request -- I am just being lazy today.
