Something a little upmarket???

A lot of DAPs are made of plastic. What if you want something made of metal? Stainless steel, aluminium or something of that ilk.

Perhaps something sturdy that is almost hewn from granite. Maybe something shiny? A Beosound 2 or 6 maybe?

Something a little upmarket?

So, your thoughts please, what DAPs would fit that description?

I somehow doubt the Hifiman has good build quality, judging by my experience with other Head-Direct/Hifiman/Minibox products. A huge heavy brick does not equal solid quality by default... or am I wrong?

Sony A8x series for sure.

Sony X series has great build quality too.

Yea I would say the SonyX look's the most durable but I could be wrong. You could get an iPod Touch and just buy a good case for it also.
