IC: Bottlehead Quickie. Battery powered Preamp/Headphone amp

This is an interest check for my Bottlehead Quickie. I purchased it factory assembled from Bottlehead with upgraded caps and tubes (NOS Mullards and NOS GE's) as well as the Headphone mod for around $220 shipped (can't remember exactly). This is a battery powered tube preamp/headphone amp. The kit is available as a preamp only from Bottlehead for $99 but you'd need to put it together, get a chassis, upgrade the caps and tubes, add transformers for headphone use, etc. I'm not sure they are offering it anymore pre-assembled for headphone use.

Anyway, I bought it to use as a preamp but wanted the option to use cans (works best with higher impedance cans, 250 ohm +). I have probably only put about 5 hrs on it total so its really in mint condition. I think I've just decided I really want a preamp with a remote.

Anyway, this is a great little preamp and headphone amp and if you've ever wanted to try tubes on batteries it doesn't get any cheaper than this. Bottlehead has AWESOME customer service and a great forum if you decide you want to try some mods on this thing yourself. There are some pretty creative guys over there.

More info is available here:

Quickie battery tube preamplifier

Mine is blue and looks exactly like the one on that page.

If interested, please PM me and we'll work out the details.

Thanks for looking!
