Good source for carbon fiber

Well, as very few of you may know, I'm an avid fan of carbon fiber sleeving. It's good for just about everything and looks cool to boot. However, I only ever knew that Techflex had it...and it always cost me $1.50 per foot. Just recently I found Soller Composites, who sells 1/4" sleeve for 70 cents and I figured I'd give it a try.

Hilariously, what I received was identical to Techflex's product. They surely make it for Techflex as it's an unusual item that only a select few can manufacture. Shipping was cheaper too with faster priority mail (not slow UPS). Couldn't be happier, Soller has just about every kind of high tech fabric and sleeving...check them out! They're saving me tons of money.

Seems like a bad choice for making cable sleeving. Carbon fibres are kinda brittle when not resinated, and super stiff when they are.

What a fracking cool find, Scootermafia! I like the seizure inducing fiberglass/carbonfiber sleevings. They have fabric too, to maybe its time to do some custom carbonfiber plugs that aren't as ghetto as my stickers

EDIT: Just ordered a bunch of samples!

Carbon fiber can be dangerous for your lungs if you work on it, in an enclosed area.
If you have used it before you would know that.

I didn't know that. I will be sure to use a mask.

Be careful with anything made of carbon fiber. Like full respirator and closed goggles careful. No one really has any idea what it does when inside your body.

It has the same effect as Tequila...it makes you 10 feet tall and bulletproof.
