UPS fiasco... [resolved] - Page 2

Glad it was an internal error and that it looks like you'll get it fine. I understand your frustration with the experience you have, but hopefully you won't be quite as aggravated about it in a few days. I'm not a huge proponent of UPS or anything, but mistakes do happen. I've used UPS many many times, and I think I've had problems with maybe one package a year. Same with FedEx. Neither carrier seems to consistently be able to find my apartment for some reason...probably different delivery folks.

Well glad it was internal error for u. I am experiencing issues with UPS today and I saw this thread.

Today I found out that a package I have been waiting for was delivered on Friday last week, and I was out that weekend. They just left a big box outside the front door!!!

I was wondering why I never received the item and checked tracking and realized that I never got it even though the damn thing says delievered. Looks like someone just walked up to my apartment and took the box sometime over the weekend. This brings up all sorts of doubts and questions. Calling UPS was pointless, they just said, no we wont leave it in the leasing office if no signature is required, and if its delivered and you cant find it, theres nothing we can do ,call the shipper to handle it.

This is unexpected and really quite a surprise for me because usually we dont see these things happen here. But to leave a huge box outside the door just before the weekend, to me sounds quite ridiculous, especially when my apartment entrance/patio faces the road!

Sigh...sorry for threadjacking but had to vent...
