Is head direct customer service takes Chinese New Year off or just don't answer my warranty request?

Hi, anyone was able to contact Head Direct customer service this week? I have a problem with my HE-5 (flickering sound - tried to check the cable/switch side but seems the problem comes from the driver). Last week I reported to them, they asked for the receipt but then when I emailed the receipt on Friday, they just don't answer my email anymore (they were quick to reply - telling me what they need/what I can't do earlier). So anyone?

I talked to Telica (think that's right) several times yesterday ordering a RE0. No problems here. Did you call or just e-mail?

So Head Direct are working but don't respond to my warranty request.

I emailed. I had to email them the purchase receipt. So they are working but don't respond to my warranty request. They were quick to reply when I asked questions but when I emailed the purchase receipt for warranty claim they just go silent. Darn......

Relax, it is leading up to Chinese New Year. Maybe they are short on staff. Send another email or two

The only people left today in the China offices that I work with are the Philipinos and other expats.

You will be OK. They are very honest. Most likely just overwhelmed / short-staffed at the moment.

Great people, great supporters of Head-Fi. Know them personally, they will not let you down, they are not like that.

But the New Year doesn't start until Sunday! Stupid people taking off early and leaving me at the office.

Did you ever call the cust service #? I had a nice conversation with Telica, very nice and personable, got back to me quickly.
To play devil's advocate, e-mails are easily ignorable, get someone one the phone and get the job done.
Let us know how it goes.

I know that Fang is in China until the 18th, and thought he was the one who deals with warranty issues.
