Many people have forgot about this... - Page 4

I'll stick to keeping the headphone on my head. It keeps yours ears warm too.

Just curious, how do you pants accommodate your AKGs? That would mean baggy pants I guess or would you go MC Hammer style?

I guess for me the thrill is in both. I like reading about equipment and want to have something that sounds nice. I get a little upset with the opinion sometimes expressed on this site that unless you are spending 15,000 for a amp and 15,000 for a DAC that you are inferior or something. Supremeitis does exist but I ignore it. I have what I can afford and love the sound of my stuff. My only complaint is that I wish I could learn to relax and just listen to the music but struggling with that since I retired. I always feel like I have to be doing something. I guess I will get over that but years of hard work are hard to overcome at least for me. I thought this post appropriate as I too have sat for hours on the site and then realized I did not have any music on or headphones on. OK, now it is time to start listening to music and to find new stuff to listen to. I really want to get into classical but find the CD's confusing since I don't know what I would like.

I have to wear very baggy pants to have enough room for everything already there, so there is a little room left over for the AKGs.

You can always buy smaller depends.

In your experience, are the smaller ones as effective?

In fact, since joining HF, my musical tastes have expanded to many different genres that I never gave a second thought before.

No no no, you're supposed to brush it off and deny any personal experience. Then I come back quipping about how it's yet another example of people making recommendations of gear they have no experience with.

Maybe we could go into comedy together. I could be the stump manI am still laughing about this. Funy thig is that at 62 I could probably get away with brushing it off. LOL
