Your fears and phobias.

I got this idea from a recent conversation with a friend. What are your random fears and phobias? I don't have any particularly odd ones, just spiders, centipedes, and extreme heights. No problems with snakes or bats though, which some people seem to think is odd.

I'm exactly with you, man. Snakes are cool, bats are cool, bugs/arachnids are f***ing scary! I have problems with those observation towers at state parks, but that's about it as far as heights.

I hate unsecured heights like ladders. I once helped a buddy's dad re-shingle his roof. I could barely move, and it was just the 2nd floor.

Ironically, I love roller coasters. I think the potential to fall is what gets me.

Heights here too, and that's just about it. There is a foothill (Sanitas) I can only climb at night, and I am scared to come down in the morning when I can see how high I am.

dust.

it's a stupid phobia that's completely brought about by my parents. Ever since I was young, my mom would force me to cover my nose/mouth if it was ever dusty, making a huge deal about it like I was going to die if I inhaled. Now if someone stirs up a lot of dust by moving furniture or fluffing up a cushion, I have to literally leave the room.

Needles. I can literally go unconscious at the sight of the combination of a syringe and a needle. This probably roots back to my childhood when I was forced to takes loads of shots at a very young age due to moving abroad.

I absolutely hate the dark due to the movie the grudge. That girl creeps me the F$%@ out!

As a kid I use to climb the hills next to the river in my hometown (VERY steep). I agree, going up isn't that bad, but going down is another thing.

Any creepy crawly insect/arachnid/creature with more than 4 legs that is larger than the nail on my pinky. That is definitely my biggest fear. Once they start getting larger than my pinky finger, I start walking (or running) the other way.

My only other real fear is swallowing pills. I don't know why but I've always been afraid that I'm going to gulp and it's going to end up going into my windpipe instead.

I think one of the only things im afraid of is spiders, but im deathly afraid of them so that makes up for it. Unless its those tiny @ss little red ones, those i can just squish, anything bigger and its time to find a box and a sweater to wrap my arm with...cant use a paper towl or tissue cause then you can feel the bugger under your finger...cant have that..

maybe this is weird, and i dont mean to make fun of you, but i think that's really cool, the most unique phobia ive ever heard of
