How the hell would I secure the cable in this plug? http://www.cardas.com/images/oem/PDF_DRAWINGS/GRQSS.pdf I think it is beautiful and would like to use it on a cable for my HD650's (want something pretty to match up with the silver I am using), but I can't think of anything but hot glue right now. I guess some heatshrink would help, but that doesn't really alleviate that much pressure on the joint.

I have read "lucifer's own soldering iron" in reference to soldering to the rhodium, but that is something I can deal with having soldered to rhodium before. However, I don't want to build something that won't last.

I guess it should be ok since there are tons of Cardas headphone cables out there, it just is weird since every other connector I have used has at least a screw or a clamp.
