Sansa Clip+ reliability questions

Quick question going out to you guys that own a Clip +, have any of you experienced any reliability issues with your Clip +'s yet?

I noticed several posts on ABI about hardware failure rates amongst owners of Clip +'s. With random freezes, Clip +'s switching off & failing to restart, and with Clip's snapping off.

Before I run out and purchase one this week, I was wondering if anyone here has had a problem with their Clip +?

Cheers

I've had mine since they first came out last year. Nearly daily use. On my bike in the summer and walking back and forth to work this winter. No problems whatsoever. Holding up physically and the player runs great, no freezes or anything ( and I used to have an Amp3, so I know a picky player ).

So far, so good (owner since Xmas). The only issue I've had is the database freeze issue with certain OGG Vorbis tags. Workarounds in place, however.

Had mine since September or so. The clip is still on it (no problems with it for me), no physical problems, but I've had a few issues with it. Sometimes, it'll just freeze up, and a soft reset fixes it. I've formatted it and updated the firmware, but it still happens every once in a while. It only happens every once in a while, but it would be nice if they would fix the issue.

I dropped mine like 3 or 4 times. Works well. I really do recommend this little player: )

I have had some small issues with my Sansa players, but usually nothing a soft reset couldn't fix. I did have a problem with my Fuze getting the White Screen of Death, but I returned it to the seller for an exchange. I think you notice a lot of people with issues because people usually don't post anything until they have a problem they need to fix and are looking for a solution, but also think about all the people who own a Sansa who never have problems that don't post anything.

I've got like 70ish hours on mine so far, only had it for a week so far. I've upgraded to the most recent firmware, and i have had no problems at all and i use it a good 8-10 hours a day.

Are the firmware updater for Sansa Clip and Clip+ the same?? I never bothered to update mine. So a little help please: )

Does this version still has the 44100 slow-down problem?
