When I listened to the sound for the 1st time, I was hit by it. I was punched by the not-punchy-bass. I was hoping it would offer much better bass response than SE315.. equals to Klipsch Image...

I was in Japan and was looking at headphones to buy. I had a cheap budget of about 4000 yen or circa $40. I bought this headphone because it was on sale for $30 and was very good looking. It was...
I will probably get this as well. Hahn seems to get better and better with time, and her Bach concerto album is still one of my top ten favourites (along with Hope's).
I bought it yesterday from Barnes & Noble Booksellers and this CD is quite sumptuous in Ms. Hahn's rendition of Bach's sacred and secular arias. The real standout performance is Erbarme dich from St. Matthew's Passion. This is my first and only CD collection of Bach's arias so I have no comparisons to others with which to draw my observations. All that I can say about Ms. Hahn's CD is that it is lovely and well worth the price of admission.
how's the sound quality and balance between violin and voices.
Both sound quality and balance between violin and voice are very good. Dynamic range is wide and uncompressed with Ms. Hahn playing throughout major portions of each aria. Overall, I am well pleased with the concept behind this album and I believe it shows her maturing style and added grace to share her virtuoso status among fellow musicians.
