SOLD: Headroom Ultra Micro Amp (US)

Up for sale is my Headroom Ultra Micro amplifier. Included with this will be the Headroom-recommended Cardas 1/4 to 1/8 adapter that I purchased with it. I built a Beta22 at the end of last year, and the Micro has been sitting unappreciated since. It is still a great little amplifier, and I feel that this should go to a new home that will use it more!

First things first, you can find my feedback here: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f12/anonanimal-472011/ as well as here (eBay): eBay My World - travmanxc.

I prefer to ship to within the US, but if you meet my asking price we can probably work something out.

The unit was purchased in February of last year (2009) from Headroom and I paid $599.00

I'm asking SOLD shipped as this is a discontinued product. I will entertain reasonable offers.

There is a visible flaw on the top of the amplifier in the form of a small scratch. You can find this in the pictures below.

The amp has approximately 400 hours of total time on it. Clean, non-smoking environment.

What I do have:
Stock wall-wart power supply. (NOT the Astrodyne supply).
Original manual.

What I do not have:
Original box.

Feel free to PM me with any questions!

Another bump for good measure. Might pull this if interest remains low.

Where does this fit in within the current line up? I can get the Micro for 349? What are you asking for this now?

This amp fits in above the Micro and was originally matched to the Ultra Micro DAC. Headroom claims that it is a true Class A amplifier, and I recall reading a few threads where the sound was likened to its bigger brothers in the desktop series. Since there aren't supposed to be discussions in these FS threads, I'll just say there are a few comparison threads in the Headroom Sponsor forum and I'd recommend that you head there if you want to get some reading in about it.

Price is still in original post.
