I think a couple of people are maybe confusing these with YH-100's, this is a completely different headphone.

I am open to all decent offers as it stands, but as to a guide price I would like in the region of $950 for Pair #1, and $799 for pair #2. As I said I am v.open to offers so fire away.

So to know what the market value for these are, the last three YH-1000 sales were between $900-1000 each, without original box.
And I think you'll be hard pressed to find one for sale anywhere else, they are basically impossible to find which is a shame for such a great headphone.
(considering the price of vintage grados and K1000 etc, it's not really an unrealistic price, and those are nasty dynamics )

Im suprised these havent sold yet.
If anyone is worried about a driver repair affecting sound, dont, all drivers sound perfect, and there are no channel imbalances.

The fix applied to these was very careful and applied with a micro sharpened wooden quill using a microscope, very small and careful repair.
The drivers are as good as in any pair of YH-1000 you will hear (i have heard 4 yh-1000 alltogether now).

Pair #1 is taking a trip to USA to reside with a friend. So if someone buys it there will be around a weeks delay in getting it now.
