Anyone have broken UE cables ?

i just picked up the triple fi 10 and i want to experiment with recabling them to work with the iPhone 3Gs cable with mic and volume buttons.

I'm hoping someone would have a few old broken UE cables they'd be willing to send me to experiment on.

I'm looking to duplicate the mod described here and I don't want to experiment with my new cables.

I've got a TF10 cable that is brand new other than I pulled the outer casing off by the memory wire while trying to remove them.

Oh, now I'm jealous. I've been looking for a TF10 cable all over the place.

By the way, that mod looks very interesting. Does that mean you could do something like that with any headphone? Good luck!

Thanks info! I sent you a pm. You should be able to do this mod with any IEM you are brave enough to open/rewire. Only problem is you end up sacrificing the first one you open because you're still learning how to do it.
