Greetings people!

I'm looking for punchy and strong portable mp3 for my ATH M50.

I don't need no fancy video features, just strong, powerful sound.

Any suggestions?

Tnx

Hmm a good player for those headphones? How much are you looking to spend? But if you just want strong, good sound you can look into the Sansa Fuze/Clip+ players. They have great sound and are pretty cheap.

Walkman X, Cowon S9, Sansa Clip+/Fuze, AMP3 PRO...

All my players sound fantastic w/my ATH-M50's, especially my iPods (RockBoxed), Rio ce2100, & Sony S639. I love 'em and use them every day @work. Really, except for my Archos pmp's (not exactly known for their SQ - decent IMO), the M50's sound fantastic w/almost any player.

Sansa clip sounds great and is cheap as chips. It has a lousy EQ, but I find the M50s don't need an EQ, as long as you enjoy their strong bass.

If you get a clip V1, or Fuze you can RockBox them as well. The M50's are quite versatile, so there isn't much they DON'T go with.
