T-Mobile myTouch 3G – Fender Limited Edition

I'm on T-Mobile and need a new phone, and the upgrade isn't too much more than a regular myTouch. Not sure about mixing music player with phone though. It would be convenient, but I'm not convinced anyone has done it that well yet (I hate Apple and will never get an i-anything).

Still, it looks kind of cool:

Have you considered the Nexus One? Its supposedly much better than the myTouch.... Well, the iPhone's music player was pretty good when I used it.

I never use the music player on my phone. Drains the battery too fast.

The myTouch 3G is outdated. It uses the same hardware inside as the original G1. The extras on the Fender edition is not worth the extra money (the phone is too slow for the bonus apps). Get the Nexus One instead ($180 from Google with 2yr contract with T-Mo).

BTW, is it customary now to point a hatred towards Apple, regardless whether it's relevant to the topic or not?

It was relevant. I was pre-empting the inevitable "i-Phones play music" responses.
