FAR better for you to catch an issue and delay the ship date with the issue addressed than to have units shipped to us with an issue, with many of us then anxiously seeking field support. Thanks to you, Craig, for such active involvement in the delivery of this product.
it would be nice if its possible for you to pass the evaluation unit around, especially to those who have pre-ordered the studio I. afterall, you can identify more problems ( or potential ones) with more feedbacks.
Passing it around by mail would take months. It would generate too many differing opinions, then HiSound wouldn't know what to do. Better to trust them, it seems as though they've already done extensive testing already. Having an experienced person in Craig double checking it is enough.
You are evaluating a sample unit. Providing everything passes your high standards you must then say "OK, go ahead and ship the units" Then they must be shipped to you correct? Anyone know how long the Chinese New Year is? I'm just trying to get an idea as to when us preorders can expect to receive our units. Since it seems that they will inevitably be held up because of the holiday you might as well do an all out extensive test.
