Haha I began posting in November/December 2009. Before that, I had 53 posts between the day I joined and November (20th or something). I rarely post now. In December-February I had days where I would post over 60 times a day
It actually only took me about a month to become a Supremus. That doesn't really matter anyway. I don't really care about post count. I like to help people on these forums and tell trollers off
Since I turned 16 I have posted very little, as I love my headphone system, and am too busy listening to music or researching things like DACs and cables to post on head-fi.
Thanks for the link the the ER20, revolink24. I have looked at them before, but I dunno if I would want them in my ears. Tri flange probably wouldn't even fit. They also look extremely strange and my friends would give me crap about wearing them for aaaaaaaaaages. We will see when the concert comes around I suppose...
Patrick's K1000 have a 1M Valhalla cable on it (actually 4 out of the 7 conductors from the Valhalla power cable) and because the cable is so thick (16awg), the outer grilles cannot be put on. Also, the inner grilles have a rectangle cut out of them (this is a known mod, but I don't think anyone has actually noticed a difference). At this point in time, I am more worried about how they sound, as I can just mod them myself later (or ask for someone professional to) to make them look better (ie: put outer grilles back on).
Hey we can do what we want to!
I'm usually on when I either can't go out with friends or have nothing better to do. It racks up. But I'll admit like a third of it is in the member's lounge and technically shouldn't count. I thought I was still in the low 2000s actually. I posted the most when I was a newbie, now I just do when it's something relevant. And post count means basically nothing. Posts take on average a minute to make so they don't require much effort.
Aaand how much did he give them to you for? I'm genuinely curious.
The absolute worst thing I ever see is people wearing Skullcandies on top of hoods or hats. There seriously can't be any treble left after that kind of treatment.
You say that as if they're actually listening to music...
They are. I can hear it leaking out.
Yeah I can hear their 32 kbps music leaking out too. Silly kids and their poor quality music that they downloaded from Limewire, everyone knows torrents are where it's at.
(What? I don't use torrents....)
WHAT? We go 128 kbps old man. Learn the new technologies. Gosh.
Better than the 12TB of FLAC that is 8 songs...
Just kidding. I knew I wanted to be an audiophile once I heard the difference in FLAC and MP3. Even with my PoS on-board sound card I can hear the difference between 320kbps and FLAC. (Some songs)
just noticing....
how to get a 100+ reply thread: write the word skullcandy in the thread title
Or free HD800...
No, how to get 1000+ is to use the words Grado and Overrated in the same title -instant holy war-

Skullcandy has some great potential and should NEVER be bashed. Skullcandy aviators are the perfect example to prove this. The name may sound bad but its different, and unique and by no means boring. Some skullcandies are plasticy and cheap feeling but the sound is good in alot of them. Obessors of sound are on this site so they wont tell you anything good because they are too picky if you want an honest persons opinion. Skullcandies are just fine.
Wow...did you create an account just to post that? Sad.
I was in Best Buy today and for some reason I cannot walk past the Beats without putting them on. It's like a car wreck that you just can't look away from. Anyways...after I had my fun, I went to leave the isle and noticed they had some Skullcandys out for demo...well...of course I couldn't resist. I put them on my head, pressed the demo button and I was literally startled from the bass. I actually jumped. I swear it was the most God-awful thing I have ever heard or felt come out of a pair of headphones. It felt like the cans contained a set of rumblers from an xbox 360 controller. They literally were shaking on my head from the bass. It was sickening. The highs and mids were so overwhelmed by this "bass"...there is not a word that can describe it...recessed does not even enter in to the picture here...were are talking about banished to the depths of hades. It was insane. I let my son try them on and he just stared at me with this lost look in his eyes. I said to him "they sound pretty terrible, huh?". The guy standing next to me with a pair in his hands in the package looked at me like I just walked up and kicked his puppy...lol

Nope. He's just back for more trollin after his first run. Check out his other posts (though previously they got deleted back when he first showed up.)
