For information on what the Carrie amp is, go to the following link:

The Carrie Amp is a USB-powered amplifier based on the AMB Labs Mini^3, originally designed around the tooleAudio BantamDAC and the Hammond Manufacturing 1455C80x enclosure. It can now work with the Mute Audio grubDAC.
I would really like to provide the kit option to everyone, but the added trouble isn't as attractive to me. I just know that shipping from places from Mouser or Digikey is insane for people across any of the oceans or canals, so I want to help them out. Meanwhile, I'll try to make it as easy as possible for new DIYers to get their parts together for their build.
I haven't completed the production board version, but I have a fairly good idea of how I will improve it. Ah yes, time. Time, time, time.
Also, I'll try to run as many group buys as needed so that everyone can get their hands on a board. I'm not making any money from this GB, and if any money is left over after shipping, I will donate that to an established charity.
When signing up for a board,
Please be as clear as possible with your information. It saves me trouble and gets you your board marginally quicker.
I'll let you all know when to send your moneys. I will collect it after I come up with the final version and before getting the boards produced.
This group-buy has been approved by Jude (and n_maher). Super nice guys.
edit: Price will be around $10, but the final numbers will determine the ultimate price of the PCBs. That's partly why I'm not taking money just yet. It will reduce the confusion for me, and PayPal won't gobble up as many transaction fees. Hold onto your wallets.
