Need to re-pin IEM Cable

In December I bought someone's custom iem's along with a nice JENA cable that I planned to use after reshelling. Unfortunately, when I sent them off to Fisher hearing, they did not rework the pins to fit. The diameter of the pins is too small to connect with the new Fisher socket, and may not extend deep enough because the head which holds the pins has a recess. Another forum member suggested that I post here to find out where I could have my cable reworked. He said I'd need to have 21 awg pins soldered onto the cable, then a new head added or made out of epoxy. Unfortunately, my soldering skills are miserable. Does anyone know if I could go to a computer or music shop to have this kind of work done? Or a place I could send my cable off to and how much it would cost? Thanks.

its actually normally between 20-21AWG; its a really awkward size ~.75-77mm depending on how the customs have been used as the holes and connectors can be made larger by fairly normal usage I cannot suggest anywhere to get it done locally. and it would be unproductive for you to send it here for such a small job. good luck with your search. I dont even know anyone you could ask as most; even professional companies seem to chop off stock connectors and use them, true story

That's disappointing. I don't know if it helps - but I've been told that the Westone ES cable has the right size pinout for the Fisher sockets. I've been debating buying one, but didn't want this Jena cable to go to waste.
