Has anyone else had their muscial horizons "expanded" by Head-fi? - Page 3

Typed Cowboy Junkies into the search bar and this is one of the threads that came up. I'd say I'm rediscovering the Cowboy Junkies. I've owned the Trinity Sessions and Black Eyed Man for years. Just listened to them both again after not giving them a go for a long while. One of the records I discovered recently following, The What Are You Listening to Now thread was Angus and Julia Stone, Down the Way. What an enjoyable record. Another record I discovered on Head Fi recently was Dion, The Bronx in Blue. Good Stuff. I think I need to order Trinity revisited and Lay it Down. Anybody got any other recommendations?

I'm pretty into Cowboy Junkies.  That said, I think One Soul Now, and At The End of Paths Taken, two fairly recent records, are just outstanding, and better even than some of their mid-career stuff.

I devoted a thread to different music, of course... Even so, Joanna Newsom surprised me the most.

Man I love Joanna Newsom.  "Ys." is an absolute masterpiece.

I only have her last three-disc album, it is stunning... The long listen is worth it.
