Hissing in newly built cmoy

Hello,

I just build this cmoy amp (How to Build the CMoy Pocket Amplifier) over the weekend and have a very loud hissing in the right ear. Also the volume in the right ear is not adjusting at all. The left ear has a slight hiss but otherwise sounds pretty clear. Has anyone else encountered this issue with this build before?

Let's see pictures of the soldering. Sounds like you have a bad connection in the right channel and at least one in the ground channel (usually the cause of hissing). Perhaps there's a short from the right channel to ground. Can't tell without pictures.
