Does the Klipsch 2 year warranty cover the cords?

Hi Amy, Professor Thump et al.!

I had a question about the Klipsch 2 year warranty. Does it cover problems with the cord/wiring?

Let say I subject my earphones to normal wear and tear (playing every day, wearing around, occasionally clumsily dropping them and hoping no one saw, gently wrapping them up and putting them away in a backpack-pocket when not in use--I can't imagine that this is considered too abusive) and a year and half in there's a problem with the wiring, will the warranty cover it?

I am asking because I heard that the warranty only covers manufacturing defects in the earphone itself and I wanted to confirm.
