iPad: Fail or win?

What I see is not a revolution. What I see is an oversized iTuch having the same sized buttons. 3G is welcome, although no multi-tasking, no Flash, 64GB SS drive (no moving parts, at least, I guess) max and I can go on for a while...
The good part is that Apple' system crashes a lot less (supposed). The bad part is that it's locked down. I don't see how this can compete with an Eee or an Aspire One.
Apple iPod: WIN. iTuch: Epic WIN. Mac: Debatable. iPad: Win? Fail? Epic FAIL?

I am sure the apple fanboys will be out in masses to buy the ipad. Its a gigantic ipod touch why wouldn't you buy it?
