The T3 or T4 works well, in my experience, with the RE0's. Use the bass boost on the T3 or up the gain for the T4.

I definitely agree with the above recommendation. If the price is too steep, then just run it off HP out until you can save enough $$ to get one. I don't know if the other amp will make too much of a difference.

Ok, so I'm probably getting a iBasso T3. I just have one more question though: how many times better is the T3 to the Fiio E5 in SQ improvement (including bass)? The T3 costs 6 times more...is it worth it?

You're never going to get a straight answer to that, as that is the question that will plague anyone who plays the upgrade game. The better question is where is your tolerance for diminishing returns?

True, you still have cMoys but since you preferred the T3 just wait and listen. Headphones are a more predictable, thank heavens.

If you already have an IPC, you have a certain length/width already. The most portable solution would then be to reduce thickness. The Slim is one of the thinnest solutions out there, so it certainly makes sense that that was recommended.

(That, and the awesome sound... Tood told me it sounds similar to the millet hybrid portable, and the MHP is amazing.)

Thanks a lot man! So the T3 really is smaller than the RSA Shadow/Pico Slim. It's definitely either T3 or E5 for me, I'm not sure what to choose. If I get a E5, I can clip it on my belt or something, but I think the T3 will have to go behind my iPod.

Headstage Arrow

Good comparison....I find the dimensions/weight chart a little confusing. Pictures would help.
I personally bought the Headstage Arrow because of it's excellent SQ, ultra thin profile, exceptional adjustability and reasonable price. I've owned a few portables and this is my favorite. It's almost unnoticeable in transport.

Hyperfluxe: if you're a smoker, imagine the smaller, thinner Zippo lighter. Now imagine that lighter half as thick. That's almost the exact dimension of the T3. fantastic fit with Nano and due to its incredibly thin profile easily fits into shirt pocket lashed on to the Nano

There is no bass boost on the T3.

The T4 has bass boost, but that's a decidely inferior amp, esp for the price.
